Anne & Marilla

Anne of Green Gables is a treasured, timeless story. I read all of the Anne novels by L.M. Montgomery in my youth and identified with Anne. I love how empowered she is and how she’s not afraid to speak her mind. Her awe of the natural world and her joyful spirit remind me that we are lucky to live in this world, and that it’s a gift to feel strongly.

“The Cordelia-wannabe with an imagination as big as her vocabulary is flawlessly portrayed by Caiti Townley.  Her energy and believability draws the audience into her world and her feud with Gilbert Blythe, played by Marcus Baur.  The costumes, designed by Amy Hobbs, are charming, and the set transitions are as smooth as the raspberry cordial Kyra Oby swallows as Anne’s friend, Diana Barry.” – Vicki A.
