A continuation in my series of short plays about fancy animals who fail to save the environment. Two gophers get stuck inside their burrow on Groundhog Day due to a freak arrival of the next Ice Age. Airing live from underground. Two coral polyps converse on the inevitable end of all ocean life as we know it. Warm oceans and bleaching — so hot right now. What is that phrase… “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”?
